SPD Short Change Suspects

On Tuesday, August 31^st Shreveport Police received several calls about two separate simple robberies and described the suspects as two b/m's, one with a curl and one with braids, seen driving a older model Greenish/Blue, Ford Taurus with the back bumper missing.

At approximately 5:00 pm a patrol officer spotted the vehicle at 70^th Street, subsequently stopped and detained the driver and passenger. Both suspects were brought to the detective office for interviewing. Shreveport Police Detectives learned the suspects did not rob the business, but were skilled in the art of short change. They stole $162.00 from Pizza Hut, 6100 Greenwood Rd and $125.00 from La. Grill, 7600 Pines. The money was recovered and arrested for theft were Napoleon Burks, b/m, 01/12/60 and Antonio Bibbs, b/m, 06/10/70, both of 3416 Pleasant Street.
