Robber Sought by SPD

The Shreveport Police Department is interested in any information on the whereabouts of Carlos M. Smith, b/m, 27, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant for Attempted Armed Robbery and Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

On July 24^th, at about 5:35 AM, the suspect approached his victim in the 900 block of Turner and demanded money. The victim refused to relinquish any money and Smith shot him in the leg and fled the scene. Positive identification was made through a photo line up and a warrant was issued for Smith’s immediate arrest.
