Police charge man with identity theft

Shreveport police arrested Christopher Trey Johnson, w/m, 21, on Saturday and charged him with identity theft after he used credit card numbers belonging to other people.

Johnson used his position as a salesman for both ArklaTex Water/Rainsoft and ADT Security to obtain the numbers. After he obtained the information, he used the numbers to pay for work done on his car, buy a laptop computer, and to make other purchases.

Johnson was arrested first by patrol officers on unrelated charges.
