Thrifty Liquor Forgery Suspect Thumbed

On Tuesday, August 10^th suspect Brian Bowen, b/m, 36 cashed 5 counterfeit checks at a variety of Shreveport Thrifty Liquor stores totaling $2,972.87.

Bowen was arrested by Shreveport Detectives and confessed to cashing the forged checks all with his thumb print on the back. Additionally, further investigation revealed Bowen had 3 warrants from Caddo and 2 warrants out of Missouri for Forgery and Issuing Worthless Checks.

Bowen was booked into CCC for the forgery and the outstanding warrants.
