BROTHERS ARRESTED IN ROBBERY

At approximately 4:00 PM today, Shreveport Police arrested two brothers in connection with the August 16^th robbery of the Eckerd’s pharmacy, 9194 Mansfield Rd.

Responding to information from a confidential source, Shreveport patrol officers and Violent Crimes detectives went to the 9000 block of Mackey Circle and within a short time arrested Jason D. Meshell, w/m, 11-23-77 and his brother Michael Meshell, w/m, 4-19-76 without incident.

Both suspects were brought to the detective office for further interviews and then booked into CCC for Armed Robbery.

In a similar case, Shreveport Police are continuing to develop suspect information regarding the Monday robbery of the Albertson’s pharmacy. At this time Shreveport Police have no evidence directly connecting the Meshell brothers with this crime.
