Juveniles Missing: Suspect Arrested

Today, Shreveport Police Youth Detectives arrested Paul Christopher Chriss, w/m, 22 for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

The arrest of Chriss was the result of information received during an investigation into the disappearance of three female youths, last seen together leaving Bethune Middle School (4331 Henry) on Monday. Classmates told police Megan Clements, w/f, 12 yoa, Courtnie Martinez, w/f, 13 yoa and Kelseia Chapple, b/f, 12 yoa were all seen getting into a in a 2 door, green, Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a young white male, unknown to the witnesses.

Further investigation revealed a classmate saw Courtnie Martinez at about 7:00 PM, Tuesday in a similar vehicle driven by a young white male, moving Westbound on Jefferson Paige Road. The witness identified the male driver as the same person previously described as picking the three girls up from school on Monday.

Since Tuesday, all three girls have not been heard of or seen and police are concerned for their safety.

Police need anyone having information as to the whereabouts of these girls to call 673-7300 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
