Burglary Suspect Sought

Shreveport Police are searching for a suspect who burglarized an elderly woman early this morning.

Police responded to the 200 block of W. 74^th on a aggravated burglary call and after speaking with the resident, it was determined the suspect is a b/m, appx. 5' 7" tall, muscular build, short hair, appx. 30 years old, heavy mustache and beard around his mouth, wearing a ball cap backwards and a heavy white jacket.

Once the suspect entered the residence, he demanded the woman’s purse but was unsuccessful and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
