Interview Leads to Arrest

On Thursday, October 7^th, at approximately 10:30 PM, Shreveport Detectives were interviewing Leonard Morgan, b/m, 3-15-86 regarding a robbery. However, during the interview, Morgan began confessing to having sexual intercourse with a 12 year and 14 year old juvenile. Detectives advised the suspect of his Miranda rights and obtained a full confession.

Detectives interviewed each victim and corroborated the suspect’s confession. Based on the initial investigation, Morgan was arrested for Aggravated Rape of the 12 year old juvenile. The investigation continues into the sexual misconduct with the 14 year old.

Morgan was booked into CCC for Aggravated Rape.
