Shreveport Moose Family Center, Lodge #2239, will honor Corporal Lee J. Scott for outstanding service to the community at their annual Community Service Banquet on Saturday, October 23.
Cpl. Scott has been with the department for 11 years and is currently assigned to the Office of Special Investigations, working as the department’s representative with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Task Force.
The DEA Task Force was responsible for the seizure of almost $500,000.00 in cash from drug proceeds, $6,300,000.00 street value of narcotics, and 93 of the highest level narcotics traffickers in the Shreveport area, as well as one of the nation’s top level traffickers.
He is also a member of the Special Response Team and has been for seven years.
Cpl. Scott is a team player who is dedicated, well trained and proficiently executes all tasks given him. He continues to set the standard for law enforcement officers and is very deserving of this award.
