Media should already have Pete’s photo from last week’s press conference)

Shreveport detectives are still looking for a man wanted in a burglary ring and are now also looking for the man’s estranged wife.

Pete and Sandra Talton are both wanted by police as part of an investigation involving a burglary ring that got started after members of the group met at a drug rehabilitation program.

Pete Talton, 36, of Sibley is believed to be the mastermind of the group that burglarized homes in Caddo, Bossier, Webster, DeSoto and Sabine parishes.

Sandra Talton, 37, of Shreveport is accused of providing vital information about the investigation to her estranged husband. She is charged with obstruction of justice and is believed to be with him, even though she knows he’s a wanted fugitive.

So far, five people have been arrested in this investigation, and two others in addition to the Taltons are wanted for burglary. They are 27-year-old Robert "Trey" Yocom and 26-year-old Shelley Hartman, both of Shreveport.

The Taltons may be driving either a goldish brown 1987 Nissan Maxima (La. Tag LPK 209) or a 2004 dark grey Mazda M6 (La. Tag JFT 742).

Pete Talton may be armed and dangerous and has threatened police officers.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Detective Shannon Mack at 673-6985 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
