Texaco robbery really a felony theft

Shreveport police have arrested another person who falsely claimed to have been a victim of robbery.

Mark S. Dunn, 28, of Shreveport is charged with felony theft. He was the manager of the Texaco station located at 3820 Hearne Avenue.

Dunn reported to police that the business was robbed at gunpoint about 8 a.m. on Nov. 3.

Detective Rod Demery got suspicious during his investigation and determined that a robbery never occurred. Some of the stolen money has been recovered.

Just last week, police arrested two employees of Burger King who claimed to have been robbed.
