Man wanted for attempted murder

Shreveport Police are looking for a man who attempted to kill his estranged

wife.

Billy Nelson Jr., 22, of Shreveport is wanted for attempted second-degree murder for an incident that occured at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 30. He allegedly went to his wife's house in the 4100 block of Carl Terrace and pointed a gun at her. He pulled the trigger on the gun, but it did not fire. He then tried a second time, and the gun again failed to fire.

Nelson also has two outstanding warrants for domestic violence. If anyone knows his whereabouts, call Detective Shawn Parker at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7000.
