Police seek suspect on felony theft charges

Shreveport Police are looking for a man who walked out of Nader's Gallery with concealed items last October.

Damien Bell, 25, (aka Damien Ball) of Shreveport is wanted for felony theft of goods after committing a theft at the gallery. After struggling with the owner, he fled in a vehicle with another person and nearly ran over the owner as he drove away.

The incident was captured on video and released to the media. After the story was broadcast, Crime Stoppers got a tip that resulted in Detective Dean Willis being able to identify and obtain a warrant for his arrest.

Anyone with information on Bell's whereabouts is asked to call detectives at 673-6985 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
