Man arrested in October shooting

Shreveport Police have arrested a man on a warrant for aggravated battery for a shooting that occurred last October.

Clifton Mosely, 28, of Shreveport was taken into custody for a shooting that occurred Oct. 5 in the 3200 block of San Jacinto. He shot 27-year-old Julia Allen of Shreveport in her side under her arm during what is believed to be a domestic dispute.

Police arrested Mosely at a residence near where the shooting occurred in the 3200 block of San Jacinto. He was arrested on the warrant. Police also seized a small amount of crack cocaine, a handgun and a SKS assault-style rifle.
