Attempted rape

About 6:20 a.m. today, a 23-year-old white female woke up to find a man in her bedroom at the University Court Apartments. He tried to rape her, and a struggle ensued. When the man left the room, she fled out her window and ran to Willis-Knighton Pierremont.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5'8" to 5'9" tall with a buzz cut and dirty blonde hair. He was wearing a khaki, work-type uniform shirt.

The woman is being examined by medical personnel at this time but escaped relatively unharmed.
