Car rams apartments-twice

Shreveport police arrested an 18-year-old man after he allegedly took a car and rammed an apartment complex twice this morning.

The incident happened about 11 a.m. in the 7100 block of Jewella. Marcus Taylor of Shreveport drove his girlfriend's vehicle into two buildings at the complex, leaving the car in the second building.

Taylor took off running and was caputured by an observant officer who saw a man that matched the description of the suspect.

Taylor was charged with one count of aggravated property damage and three counts of simple property damage for destruction of the vehicle and the two apartment buildings.

It is unknown why he rammed the apartments.
