Cocaine bust on Clyde Fant

The Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit, with assistance from the DEA Task Force, seized a kilo of cocaine worth over $100,000 just before lunch today.

The agents seized the powder cocaine in the 300 block of Clyde Fant during a random search. It was hidden on a private coach bus that had arrived in Shreveport from the Dallas area.

Agents arrested Latasha "Brown Sugar" Holland, 23, of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was charged with possession of more than 400 grams of Schedule II cocaine with intent to distribute.

She is currently being held in the Shreveport City Jail but will be transferred to Caddo Correctional Center because of the felony charge.
