Two burglars caught on tape

Shreveport Police Department is releasing two surveillance videos taken in two separate property crimes that occurred recently.

The first video was taken in the early morning hours of June 13 at First United Methodist Church. A suspect who reportedly broke into the church can be seen quickly walking down a hallway. He appears to be a light-skinned black male, about 5'9" and 180 pounds. He was wearing a green shirt with white stripes going down from the shoulders to the waist. He was wearing black pants and a white or tan baseball cap. The burglary was discovered about 6:50 a.m. when an employee arrived and noticed a church window had been broken into. It is unknown what all the burglar took. (Video includes still frames of suspect and video of suspect walking down hallway)

The second video was taken June 6 at a local pawn shop where the suspect, seen in the video, tried to pawn items stolen fro Broadmoor Garage. The suspect is a tall black male with a light-colored shirt. (Video includes still frame of suspect in pawn shop, and video of suspect in pawn shop)
