Man dies of injuries from April 21st wreck

A Shreveport man died this morning of injuries he sustained in an automobile crash on April 21.

Billy Don Randle, 64, of Shreveport passed away this morning at LSU Hospital. It is believed that he was traveling northbound in his 1992 Chrysler when he ran a red light in the 9400 block of Mansfield Road at Baird Road. He hit a 2006 Dodge Ram truck broadside and was taken to LSU with what was believed to be moderate injuries.

However, his injuries turned critical and resulted in his stay at a long-term care facility before his conditioned worsened, causing him to go back to LSU Hospital.
