Amsouth robber arrested

Brooke S. Bleau and she is 25 or 26 years old from Massachusetts. She reportedly robbed several banks and was captured in that state.

If she is brought to Shreveport, she will be charged with attempted armed robbery.

Shreveport Police Detectives began looking for Bleau after she attempted to rob the AmSouth Bank in the 3700 block of Youree Drive june the 19^th.

Around 9:30 a.m., a female who looked to be white or possibly bi-racial entered the bank wearing a hat and sunglasses. She was asked to take off the hat and sunglasses. She did so and then gave the teller a note, which demanded money. While the teller was delayed in getting money, the suspect apparently got scared and left.

She reportedly got into a white late-model Toyota Camry. A blonde white female was driving.

The robber is described as a light skinned female with brownish red tinted, curly hair. She was wearing a blue ball cap, blue shirt and shorts. She was about 5'4" tall, 125 pounds and about 25 years of age.
