Man steals Pit Bull at gun point

A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with armed robbery and possession of a concealed weapon after he pulled a gun and stole a pit bull puppy.

The suspect approached the victim, who was selling pit bull puppies. The suspect picked up a dog, asked how much it cost and then pulled a gun, saying that he was taking the dog. The incident occurred in the 6200 block of Buncombe before noon today.

The suspect fled the scene but was captured by police a short time later. The puppy was recovered unharmed and returned to the owner.
