Upcoming SPD Community Events

Plan to join the Shreveport Police on August 17, 2006 at the corner of Carver and Broadway as we unite to address crime and negative activities in the community. We will walk together hand and hand, door to door to share crime prevention information starting at 5:00pm. Goal of the walk is to contact 315 household/residents.

After the community walk we will come back to Carver and Broadway to discuss building Neighborhood Watches on the blocks. The best way to keep our neighborhoods safe is to get to know one another, so join us for a “Party with a Purpose” - fish dinner and “ole fashion fellowship and networking”.

Business Walk - meet at Dollar Store at 9:ooam 8/8/06 our goal is to share crime prevention and registration form for up coming Biz Form with 75 businesses.

Business Crime Prevention Semiar - "White Collar Crime and Biz. Theft"

8/24/06 at Firestone Tire and Rubber Store 8902 Jewella, time 6:00pm. Limited seating - our goal is 30-35 attendees.
