Man arrested for Aggravated Rape of Juvenile

A New Orleans evacuee turned himself into the Shreveport Police Department yesterday evening. Kenneth Sanders, dob 9-20-57, confessed to having repeated sexual intercourse with an 11 year old juvenile. Sanders was arrested on charges of aggravated rape after he gave a recorded confession to the police.

A relative of the juvenile caught the child performing oral sex on the suspect in June of this year.

The investigation is continuing. Sanders was booked into the city jail without incident pending transfer to Caddo Correctional Center.
