Police investigate accident between motorcycle and car

Shreveport Police are still investigating an accident which happened last night involving a motorcycle and a car.

The accident occurred at Broadway and Henry shortly before eight last night. A car driven by Elisha Jefferson, DOB 11-28-1987 of Shreveport, was traveling south on Broadway and was attempting to make a left turn onto Cleveland. The motorcycle, driven by Alfred Beal, DOB 04-02-1957 of Shreveport, was traveling northbound on Broadway when it hit the car during the turn.

The Impact caused Mr. Beal to land in the northbound lane of Broadway. Mr. Beal was transported to LSU-HSC with injuries to his right leg and arm. Mr. Beal is currently in Fair Condition at LSU-HSC. Mrs. Jefferson was transported to LSU-HSC as a precaution.

No charges have been filed at this time, but the investigation continues.
