Man wanted for Rape

Shreveport Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Shemika Howard, 19, of Shreveport on a charge of aggravated battery in connection with this case. She is believed to be the shooter. Photo attached.

Police started are investigating the shooting which occurred on Interstate 20 between Jewella and Monkhouse.

The shooting took place about 4 a.m. on the 14^th of September and involved a suspect vehicle shooting at another vehicle occupied by 33-year-old Lashunda Davenport and 21-year-old Demetrius Salone. 

The passenger in the suspect vehicle, described as black SUV, pointed a gun at the victims. When the SUV exited the interstate, the passenger in the SUV fired a few shots at the victims.

Davenport and Salone went to Willis-Knighton North with life-threatening injuries. Davenport was then transported to LSU Hospital.

The shooting is believed to be connected to a dispute between the parties at a nightclub earlier.
