Suspect turns himself in

The man who was captured on video for robbing an ATM customer, turned himself in today at the Shreveport Police Department. The man, Juan Lee McCray, 25, of Shreveport, He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on a charge of armed robbery. (Mug shot attached).

Shreveport Police were looking for Juan Lee McCray after he was suspected of committing armed robbery at an ATM in North Shreveport.

The incident happened shortly after 10pm on Sept. 6.

The suspect approached Lamar Hayes while he was withdrawing money from the Capital One ATM located in the 1900 block of North Market.  The suspected placed a gun in the back of the victim and demanded the money Hayes had just withdrawn from the ATM.

The suspect fled on foot after taking the money.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'5" tall with a slender build.  He was wearing a brown stripped shirt and light color pants.
