Man falls in climbing accident

A man from Montgomery, Alabama who was visiting friends in Shreveport is in critical condition tonight

he fell about 45 to 50 feet inside an apartment building.

Aaron Lee Marshall, 24, suffered multiple head and body injuries after falling to the concrete floor about 11:30 p.m. last night.

Marshall reportedly was repelling from the fourth floor when his makeshift climbing gear failed. His injuries are considered to be life-threatening. He currently is in critical condition at LSU Hospital.

Initially, the incident appears to be an accident, but detectives are looking into the case.
