Police investigate latest Homicide

Shreveport Police are investigating the shooting death of a man found in the 400 block of Mary Court.

Lavelle Law, 22, of Shreveport was found deceased by an officer who was patrolling an around around the Pendleton Apartments about 9:50 p.m.

It was discovered that shots had been fired about two hours earlier, but it was not reported to police.

The coroner's office was notified and took custody of the body for an autopsy.

The case is currently under investigation. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Jeff Brown at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
