3 shot on Wallace & 75th

Police are searching for an individual who shot into a car injuring 3 people. The shooting happened last night at the intersection of Wallace and West 75th Street shortly after 8 p.m.

Marcus Taylor, 23, of Shreveport and his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter both suffered non-life threatening wounds. Taylor was shot in the neck, and the girl was shot in the foot. A third victim, 18-year-old Jeffery James, was found a short time later at the Kings Manor II Apartments in the 7200 Block of Bernstein with gunshot wounds to his back.

According to police the shooting stemmed from an altercation between Marcus Taylor and the suspect earlier in the evening. The suspect began following the car southbound on Wallace and started shooting as they approached W. 75th.

The driver of the car, 19-year-old Jamar Reed of Shrevport, lost control of the vehicle and crashed at W. 75th and Wallace.

All three victims were transported to LSUHSC with non-life threatening injuries. If you can help police solve this crime your asked to call Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
