Crimestoppers helps Task Force

The Armed Robbery Task Force arrested two people today in connection with the robbery of Tobacco World at 7015 Pines Road on Sept. 15.

LeQuinton Jernigan and Willie T. Jernigan, both 22 from Shreveport, are charged with armed robbery. A Crime Stoppers tip led police to the suspects. They are accused of entering the business about 2:15 p.m. and robbing the clerk of cash. They then fled out the back of the store.
