2 shot on Hattie Street

Two people were shot in a drive-by shooting about 4:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Hattie Street Sunday.

Tenisha Carter, 29, and Delvin (could also be Devin) Carr, 22, were inside a house when a vehicle drove by and its occupants began firing shots.

Carter was struck at least once in the back and is in critical condition. The victim, Carr, received a graze wound across the stomach that is not life threatening.

The suspects were in a white pickup truck. There were two or three occupants.

The investigation continues into the suspects involved in the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Rod Demery at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
