Home Invasion Arrest

Charles Guiden was taken into custody yesterday. He was captured by officers after he allegedly beat up and carjacked a man in the 8300 block of Walker Road. The vehicle he took also was recovered. He was booked on the warrant listed below, as well as a charge of carjacking for the incident that occurred around lunchtime yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 25).

Chatman (listed below) is still wanted.

One person has been arrested and two others are sought in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred at an apartment complex in the 5600 block of Lakeshore Drive.

Nicole Bowman, 25, of Shreveport was booked into Shreveport City Jail on charges of armed robbery with a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and flight in a vehicle. She was arrested earlier this week after being caught driving a vehicle that was stolen during the incident. Meanwhile, Detective Russell Ross is looking for two other suspects in this case. They are Charles Guiden, 36, of Shreveport and Jackie Chatman, 33, of Shreveport.

Bowman, Guiden and Chatman are believed to have gone to the victim's apartment about 4:30 p.m. last Sunday, Oct. 8. When the victim answered the knock at his door, the two females allegedly produced a shotgun and tied up the victim. They then ransacked his apartment and stole his yellow Jeep.

The Jeep and Bowman were found awhile later. Meanwhile, Guiden and Chatman have been identified as the other suspects in this case.
