Police seek 3 after hit and run

Shreveport Police are searching for 3 juveniles who fled the scene of a hit and run this morning.

Shortly after eight this morning Shreveport police responded to a vehicle hitting a house in the 7900 block of Woodfield. According to witness statements two cars, one an Olds Delta and the Other a Celebrity were dragging racing westbound on Melrose. The two cars bumped sending the Olds Delta into a house at 7909 Woodfield.

After hitting the house the engine on the Olds caught fire, in turn catching the house on fire. After hitting the house the Celebrity stopped in the yard and all three juveniles fled the scene north on Woodfield. The Olds Delta was reported as a stolen vehicle. Both vehicles were impounded at the scene.

Police are looking for 3 Black Male juveniles who have not been located at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information to call crimestoppers at 673-7373 or log on to the crimestoppers website at www.crimestoppersshreveportcaddo.com.

Hit and Run investigators along with Fire Investigators were notified.
