Shreveport police have charged a man with three incidents involving the theft of catalytic converters.
James Bradford, 46, of Shreveport is accused of stealing two and attempting to steal a third piece of the emissions equipment from cars parked at Mall St. Vincent.
The latest case occurred on Oct. 18 near the Sears entrance about 2 p.m. The vehicle's owner returned to his vehicle and found that the catalytic converter had been stolen. Fortunately, the suspect dropped his wallet while allegedly committing the crime, leaving it behind as evidence.
