Wiring stolen from Convention Center Hotel

Shreveport Police need the public's help in identifying the occupants of a truck who stole about $65,000 worth of elevator cable that was destined for installation in the new Shreveport Convention Center Hotel.

The cable was stolen on Jan. 11 about 5 a.m. from the construction site at 102 Caddo Street.

A gray pickup truck that looks like a Chevy can be seen on video arriving at the site with plywood in the back of the truck, and then leaving the site with a blue tarp over the bed of the pickup. In the pickup is believed to be electric cord and wiring, as well as bathroom shower fixtures.

A photo of the truck is attached, but surveillance video of the truck is in the media box for pickup at the Patrol Desk.
