Shreveport Police Department's Recruiting Unit will be at the Wal-Mart SuperCenter on Bert Kouns from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2.
The SPD bus will be parking in front of the store, and officers will have applications and brochures for anyone interested in applying to be a police officer. This unit also handles the process for hiring jailers and communications officers as well.
You may ask questions about the hiring process or just meet one of Shreveport's finest during that time.
