Mardi Gras notice

Apparently some parade-goers are so eager to get a good spot that they are already "pre-marking" their spots along the parade route. Some reportedly have put up signs or painted their own spaces.

This is not allowed. Crews are trying to cut the grass and prepare the parade route. They are having to remove these signs to do so.

Citizens wanting a good spot will have to wait like everybody else and stake their claim after 7 a.m. Saturday.
