Women’s basic gun safety course

Shreveport Police Department is offering a basic gun safety class for women on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 6:30 p.m.

The class is an introductory course on gun safety. It is not a concealed carry class. Anyone wanting to attend this course should register as soon as possible by calling the Shreveport Regional Police Academy at 673-7170.

Weapons should not be brought to the class. They will be furnished for the participants.
