Sex Offender arrested

Shreveport Police Department today arrested a man wanted for sexual offenses involving 11-year-old and 9-year-old girls.

David Pugh Jr., 37, of Shreveport was booked into the Shreveport City Jail this afternoon on charges of aggravated incest, indecent behavior with a juvenile and an outstanding city warrant.

The incident with the 11-year-old girl occurred in March of 2004 in which Pugh behaved indecently with the girl. During the course of that investigation, it was learned that one of his relatives had also allegedly been molested by him.

Based on the history of this individual, it is believed that Pugh may have committed other sexual offenses, including one last month. Detectives are hoping these victims will come forward to report the crimes.
