Car-Jacker arrested

The Shreveport police department closed two carjacking cases this afternoon with two arrests.

Bryan Todd, a White Male DOB 6.4.82, was arrested for carjacking two vehicles at the Valero gas station on Bert Kouns earlier this week. In both cases he made the victims believe he had a weapon.

One of the vehicles was a pick-up truck and while the other one was a Toyota Camry.

The Pick-up truck was recovered by K-9 officers earlier this morning after they realized the truck was stolen. Once stopped officers took into custody the driver of the truck, Michael Wilson a black male DOB 3.3.77, and the passenger, Shantae Gay a black female DOB 1.9.87.

A large amount of crack cocaine was found inside the vehicle, along with a small amount of marijuana, powder cocaine and several types of pills.

Officers also found a handgun inside the vehicle. The handgun belonged to the owner of the pick-up truck.

Also arrested today was Joseph Reed Jr. a white male DOB 9/7/78. Reed was arrested as an Accessory after the fact.

Suspects were booked into the city jail this afternoon.

Bryan Todd faces two counts of Carjacking.

Michael Wilson Illegal possession of stolen items

Shantae Gay Possession of Schedule 2 with intent; Possession of schedule 1; Convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
