Son stabs father in the face

Shreveport Police have arrested a son this morning for stabbing his father.  Roderick Clark, DOB 1-5-59, has been booked into the city jail on one count of second degree aggravated battery after he stabbed his father in the face.

Shortly before 11:30 this morning Shreveport patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Caperton in reference to an armed person. Once officers arrived at the scene they were contacted by Ruth Clark. She advised officers her son was armed with several knives inside her residence and was yelling at her husband.

When officers entered the residence they found the Roderick Clark on top of his bleeding father. Officers deployed a taser and took Roderick Clark into custody.

The father was taken to LSU-HSC by the fire department with injuries which included a stab wound to the left eye.
