Dollar General Robbery

VIDEO IN MEDIA BOX

Shreveport Police today released a copy of surveillance video taken during an armed robbery of the Dollar General store at 6363 Hearne Avenue that occurred on April 20.

At about 9:45 a.m. the robber entered the office of the store, pointed a gun at the manager's head and demanded money from the safe. He then put the money in a plastic shopping bag and left the store on foot, headed westbound toward Grassmere Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'10" to 6' tall, 180 pounds, wearing a navy blue Detroit Tigers baseball cap with the letter "D" on it, a black swearshirt with hoodie, sunglasses, black pants, black shoes and gloves.
