Police Memorial set for May 14th

A Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Shreveport Police and Fire Memorial, located next to the Barnwell Center on Clyde Fant. In case of rain, it will be held inside RiverView Hall, located directly across the street from the memorial site.

The service will honor fallen law enforcement officers in the Shreveport and Bossier City area and is being held during National Police Week. This week honors those officers who died in the line of duty, as well as the 800,000 officers who continue to serve in agencies nationwide.
