Update on North Market Shooting Shreveport Police are still looking for answers in a shooting Saturday night which left one teen dead and sent another juvenile to the hospital.
Terrence Winn, 16, of Shreveport was found shot in the head by patrol officers when they responded to shots being fired at the McDonald's in the 1600 block of North Market shortly after 1 a.m.
When officers arrived at the scene they found the parking lot filled with a large crowd of people. After clearing the crowd from the parking lot, they found Winn lying on the ground. Winn was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another 16-year-old Shreveport juvenile was shot in the leg and transported to LSU Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His name is not being released at this time.
At this time, detectives believe two groups of people got into an argument, which escalated into gunfire. An investigation is underway to identify the shooters and question them.
