Man arrested for Leo Street Burglary

Shreveport Detective Russell Ross arrested a 28-year-old Shreveport man on a charge of aggravated burglary and second-degree kidnapping in connection with the attack of a woman in her home in the 200 block of Leo Street.

Leon Bell was arrested this afternoon for the incident after evidence found at the scene was linked to him.

About 1:20 a.m. on April 2, the victim awoke to find the intruder standing over her with a knife. After holding the knife to her throat and pushing her throughout the house, another female inside the home fled and called police. The intruder fled.

This case was solved by relentless and outstanding detective work by Detective Ross. Bell has never been arrested before.
