Update in shooter from North Market shooting

UPDATE: Shreveport Police are looking for Eric Code, 37, of Shreveport. Code is wanted for second-degree murder for the shooting death of Antonio Allen (see below for details).

Code was identified as the man in the red baseball cap caught on surveillance video taken at the Valero station.

Shreveport Police are looking for two men involved in a shooting at the Valero station in the 1300 block of North Market Street early Sunday.

The shooting occurred about 4:30 a.m. when 28-year-old Antonio Allen (unknown address) was sitting in his car. Witnesses said a man wearing a red ball cap approached the car and fired shots at Allen. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Surveillance video from the store showed the suspect with the red cap accompanied by a black male wearing a white shirt and baggy white shorts with tennis shoes. The shooter was wearing a cast of some sort on his right arm. He also was wearing a white t-shirt under a striped button down shirt.

Anyone who recognizes either of the suspects in the attached pictures is asked to call detectives at 673-6955 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
