Man robs credit union

Shreveport Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a credit union inside the Kroger grocery store in the 6600 block of Youree Drive this afternoon.

The incident occurred about 1 p.m. when the suspect entered the store and bought some donuts. He then went to the ATM machine to apparently wait for a good moment to approach the teller. He then walked up to the counter and handed the teller a note that indicated he had a gun and wanted money. He got an undisclosed amount and left the store.

The man was captured on three different video cameras, which are being released to the media. (They are in the Media Box at the Patrol Desk).

The picture of the suspect on DVD in front of the ATM machine is particularly good. Anyone who knows this man will recognize him. There is also a CD of him in the store as well.

He is described as a white male, about 5'11" or 6' tall, 230 pounds with a double chin. He was wearing a stone washed ball cap, a black t-shirt with white paper stuck in the front pocket and blue jeans.
