Clift Street burglary arrests

Three people were arrested and four others questioned and released following the burglary of an apartment in the 6500 block of Clift Avenue.

Two 16-year-old juvenile males and 24-year-old Michael Robinson of Shreveport are charged with aggravated burglary for the incident that occurred about 8 a.m. today.

Four others -- two males and two females -- who were arrested inside a nearby apartment were questioned and released pending further investigation.

Officers responded to a reported burglary-in-progress at the Woodlawn Terrace Apartments.  Upon arrival, officers secured the victim’s apartment and waited for a K-9 unit to respond.

Officers made entry to the apartment and arrested three subjects for aggravated burglary.

Further investigation indicated that other suspects were inside another apartment near the victim’s apartment.  A search warrant was obtained for the second apartment.  K-9 units and detectives executed the search warrant and detained four subjects from the apartment.  After interviews at the police station, four subjects were released pending further investigation.
