Additional reward offered

A local Shreveport businessman who wishes to remain anonymous is putting up additional reward money for information leading to the capture of the person who shot Johnny Reynolds of Reynold's Towing.

Reynolds, 74, was shot about 10:20 a.m. Sunday at his business in the 4400 block of Greenwood Road. The suspect is believed to be a black male, about 6 feet tall, 185 pounds wearing all black clothing.

Police were called to the scene in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Reynolds with a gunshot wound to the back.

The motive for the shooting is not known, although it could have been a robbery attempt.

Reynolds was taken to LSU Hospital. It is believed he will recover from his wounds.
