Police need publics help in solving 4 armed robberies

Shreveport police are looking for information regarding four business robberies that have occurred in the past month.

 

The most recent one occurred Saturday (July 21) in the 1200 block of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway at the Dollar General. In that case a black male in his late teens or early 20s showed a gun and demanded money. He got it and fled the scene. He is about 5'9" tall and 150 pounds.

 

The other robberies occurred on Line Avenue.

 

* On July 23, two black males entered the Circle K about 5 a.m. in the 1800 block of Line Avenue and demanded money. They got money and fled on foot northbound on Line Avenue. Suspect 1 is described as 6'1" tall, 200 pounds with braids. Suspect 2 is described as 5'10" tall and 150 pounds. Both are described to be in their early 20s. The acted like they had a weapon but didn't show one.

 

* On July 18 at 6:16 p.m., two black males entered the Po Boy Express in the 6900 block of Line Avenue and took an undetermined amount of cash. In this case, one robber produced a handgun and demanded money. They got it and fled the scene in what could have been a grey or silver four-door sedan. Both are described to be in their early 20s. The first suspect is described as 6'2" tall and 165 pounds. No specific description was given of the second robber.

 

* On June 30 at about 9:30 p.m., two black males entered the Pel State Fina in the 7500 block of Line Avenue with their faces covered. One was armed with a handgun. After they got an undisclosed amount of money, they fled west into Cedar Grove.  No other descriptions are immediately available.

 

It is unknown whether the cases on Line Avenue are related. However, it is a definite possibility that detectives are looking into.
